Quemada

What the app stores, and where

Quemada saves the information you create inside the app — club and member names, portraits, match results, mano-by-mano history, tournaments, scoring rules and preferences — directly on your iPhone or iPad, using Apple's on-device SwiftData storage and UserDefaults. None of it leaves your device. There is no cloud sync, no backend, and no account to sign into.

Camera and photo library

Quemada asks for camera access only when you choose to take a photo for a club member's portrait or for a match result card. It asks for photo library access only when you choose to pick an existing photo for the same purposes, and for photo library "add" access only when you choose to save a result card image back to your library. These photos are processed and stored only on your device; the app cannot access your camera or library without your explicit action each time, and never in the background.

Notifications

If you turn on the optional weekly rayuela-day reminder in Settings, Quemada schedules a local notification on your device through Apple's notification system. This notification is generated and delivered entirely on-device; no notification content or schedule is sent to any server, because Quemada has no server.

Sharing your own content

When you choose to share a match result card, Quemada hands the image to Apple's standard share sheet. What happens after that is entirely up to you and the destination app or service you pick (Messages, WhatsApp, saving to Photos, and so on) — Quemada itself does not send anything anywhere on your behalf.

Data Quemada does not collect

• No name, email address, phone number or physical address
• No precise or approximate location
• No advertising identifiers and no advertising of any kind
• No analytics, crash reporting or usage tracking
• No third-party SDKs of any kind
• No cross-app or cross-site tracking, and no data shared with data brokers

Children's privacy

Quemada does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, of any age, because it does not collect information at all. The app contains no chat, no user-generated content shared with others, and no purchases.

Your control over your data

Everything Quemada stores lives in the app's own storage on your device. You can erase all club, match and settings data at any time from Settings, or remove all of it permanently by deleting the app. Because nothing is stored anywhere else, deleting the app deletes everything.

Changes to this policy

If Quemada's data practices ever change, this page will be updated and the in-app "About & privacy" screen will reflect the update. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
